Semi-permanent cosmetic makeup helps replenish what time has taken away and gives back precious time you normally spend "putting on your face". You can save up to 100 hours in a single year that were formerly spent struggling to draw eyebrows evenly or eyeliner half straight. That's two and one-half weeks of free time plus the money you'll save buying new and expensive cosmetics that rub off, smear, smudge and disappear during the day. However, it is not intended to replace cosmetics completely. Because the colour is placed 'in' your skin a more natural, softer look results. When you're ready to kick up your heels and go out for a night-on-the-town, you can apply as much additional make up as you wish.

Semi-permanent eyeliner is applied with sterile supplies and topical anaesthetics. Colour is placed along the upper and lower eyelash margin (in between the eyelashes) giving you a 'fuller and darker lash' look, creating a soft subtle halo around the eyes. The effect is similar to the build up of mascara at the base of the lashes. Lash enhancement is a more natural look that many people prefer. Other people desire a more dramatic make-up look. In this case, colour is placed in between the lashes and above the lashes. If you are not sure which look you prefer we highly recommend a conservative approach. A more natural line can be applied during your initial visit. Later, if you decide to increase the thickness and/or darken your liner we can do that during your follow-up/touch-up visit (within 4-6 weeks).

Topical anaesthetic is applied to desensitise the lids and make the procedure more comfortable. Many of our clients comment that their permanent eyeliner procedures are more comfortable than their brow procedures. Immediately, after the procedure your eyelids will be puffy and slightly red around the tattooed area. The amount of swelling varies from client to client but usually everyone leaves the clinic looking as if they've had a good cry. Your permanent eyeliner will appear thicker and darker initially. As the area heals you'll notice some of the colour (scabs) flaking off which usually occurs during the first week. This is normal and to be expected. The end result is well worth it!

For men, a very soft lash line enhancement is offered. Just a subtle addition of colour is dotted around the lash line giving the eyes a 'dreamy,' sexy appearance. This look is absolutely fabulous for men of all skin tones.

Does your lipstick bleed?

Have your lips lost their definition and natural colouring around the lip border?

Imagine having lip colour morning through night, 24 hours a day, throughout the year. Semi-permanent lip colour can give you the optical illusion of fuller looking lips without the painful and temporary injection of collagen.

Semi-permanent lip colour can be applied using several different methodologies. Depending on your personal preference, lip colour can be applied only as a lip line to reshape and contour lips for a more defined sensual look. Many clients are deciding to have the lip line slightly blended into the lips for a softer less defined appearance. Another option is to have the entire lip filled with colour for a more lipstick effect. You can chose colours that match your natural lip colour or more vibrant lipstick tones.

We highly recommend a colour patch test to determine the right colour for you. Selecting a colour is a process that takes into account your natural lip colour, your skin colour, your lip shape and the desired base colour. Lip colour is applied using topical anaesthetics to minimise pain.

A lip procedure takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. Immediately after the procedure the colour will appear darker and brighter than expected, but usually fades up to 20 to 35 percent within 4 to 6 weeks.

At this time a touch-up is performed to put on the finishing touches. Your lips may go through several colour changes. Around the 10th day the treated area may look as if the colour has completely vanished. About the 14th to 16th day the colour appears to resurface. Your lips may feel chapped for several weeks so be sure to keep them well moisturised with a lip balm.

Are you tired of drawing on your brows everyday or having them melt off on hot days?

Did you tweeze or shave your brows and they simply refuse to grow back?

Are your brows naturally light or sparse?

If your answer is yes, then you are going to absolutely love your permanent eyebrows.

The eyebrows 'frame' the eyes and influence the total symmetry of the face. Micropigmentation of the eyebrows can add fullness, shape, symmetry, and defined colour tones to fair brows or to brows that have lost hair due to age or injury. Custom blended colours are placed in the brow area to correct an imperfect shape or to give brows a fuller appearance. We use your bone structure (not a stencil) as a guide to create the most flattering eyebrow design for you. Depending on the technique and colours used your permanent brows can have the appearance of natural hairs with our hair stroke methodology or have the delicate soft appearance of colour from brow shadow. Whatever end result you desire your natural facial features will be enhanced.
